Escalation League Week 10

In a typical game of Warhammer, your whole army shows up when you want it to, where you want it to.  In a real battle though, you might expect that to not always be the case.  With the dark influence of the realm of chaos constantly flowing down from the North, it is easy for a unit to be delayed or find itself separated from the main host.  The week 10 scenario tested your ability to handle this situation, with a D6 roll randomizing your deployment for each unit.  1-4 and you deploy normal, 5 means a unit was kept in reserve, and a 6 means your opponent deploys that unit.  I hope everyone got a chance to play the hand of Chaos!

Isaac Guzman, beloved friend and brother of ours has passed. You've been one of my best friends for over 15 years and it has been an honor to share them with you. Like family, you and I had our good and bad times, our up and down times. All of which will be cherished now and held in my heart. All our love and support goes to his family. We are sorry and share in your pain. His passing is deeply felt and he will be missed. We will always love you Isaac.

A dark, towering hill blocks your field of view, and your army lies in wait before it.  You know the enemy waits on the other side, contemplating the same question you are.  Is it worth it?  The high ground comes at a steep price.

Escalation League: Week 6

Advance force scenario!  Wait, you don't have an advance force?  Oh well.  In the week six scenario, scouts, skirmishers, fliers, and vanguard got to deploy normally first turn and the rest of the army was reserve forces.  For most games, this just made the game a little shorter because little happened the first two turns, but it added an interesting twist to a few of the games.  Eleven battles were fought, and after screams of battle died out, here's where the standings fall.
